Ephesians 1
Dear Child,
Please know that I have seen you and loved you from ages past, long before your parents were born. And now that you have turned your heart toward me, I can accept you into my own family, to be my very own child. I have only been able to do this at great cost to Me and my Son, Jesus Christ. Now that you too are my child, I intend to lavish every spiritual blessing on you.
I have the right to forgive all your sins. My purpose is to prepare you and change you into a person holy and without blame (Jesus took your blame), a person wise and understanding (it comes from the riches of My grace), and a person whose life will praise and glorify Me (because Jesus works out everything).
I am giving you the Holy Spirit this very day so that you can know I am with you day by day until I come again. He will help you to know me better and better, to be wiser, and will also give you an enlightened heart. You will come to know the great hope I have for you to inherit a glorious future. This will all be done by the incomparable power of Jesus (like the power that raised Him from the dead). This power can raise you above every earthly power and dominion. All these things will be under your feet.
So never fear again. All that burdens and enslaves you will be vanquished and cast down. I will lift you above it all.
