I believe that both matter, but one of them most of all.

Can two be walk together unless they be agreed? If God and how we serve Him will be the center of marriage in every aspect, it is definitely important the household be in harmony as far as beliefs are concerned. Arguements and divisions in marriage definitely arise because of differing practices of beliefs, such as placing a pork eating woman with a muslim man. Most likely there will be strife due to belief.

However, unequally yoked goes far beyond creed since you can be unequally yoked with someone from your same denomination!! For instance, a strong mature Christian might not be equally yoked by marrying someone who just became a Christian- a baby Christian; however its not limited to this.

We all came from the same 8 people on the Ark!! Ponder that!! Those 8 people had all the races in them that exist today! If all these races were mixed up in them then what of it if people happen to have different colors and features?! But dont allow Satan to cause further division amongst families by a marriage. Keep peace, God knows and respects that desire to keep peace and will bless you beyond what you are able to comprehend.
As far as race is concerned. There are different strokes for different folks!!- As long as strife does not result from it. I belief that when you are talking about a sacred and godly union, the families must be agree that it is a good union (after both man and womoan to be united have meditated and prayed for God to show them His approval also on the marriage- ONLY if both families are real Christians. I say this because marriage not only unites two persons, it all marries both families together, so their opinions do count- if both they are christians.
To close- I would not marry a man of another race- even of the same race- if I knew that my family would disown me for that marriage. Since marriage is a privilege and not a requirement, I do not believe that it is the will of God to cause such a great division over since the two of you are not the only parties getting married!! Both families are also! If both families are ungodly, then forget about what they think!!
