As many of you know my mom passed away not too long ago of cancer....and Many of you are aware of the struggle I have been going through to walk in life without her...today I was going through of moms things that were packed in a box..I found my moms church purse and her wallet inside..As tears once again ran down the tracks they have created on my face..I opened her wallet and found a picture of me..I turned it over and on the back side of the picture there was a poem mom had glued to the back...this Is the poem...
As children bring their broken toys,
with tears for us to mend
I brought my broken dreams to god,
because he is my friend.
But then instead of leaving Him
in peace to work alone,
I hung around and tried to help,
with ways that were my own.
At last, I snatched them back again
and cried, "How can you be so slow?"
"My child" He said, "What could I do?
You never did let go."
Oh what a wonderful momma I had..I can not wait to see her..Mom knew my heart..All along the way..She always told me "cherie you love so deeply and hurt so easily"..always So hard to let it all just go..My mom blesses me still to this day..What a wonderful gift I had found in just the right time..In Jesus time for all things..Oh how I love my Jesus so..Always a comfort..He always has his arms around me..Pulling me ever closer to him..Thank you Jesus.
