  Dear Bree88,

I was unequally yoked to my first husband for 16 years; we clashed especially when I started to look into what God was about. I divorced him, cause he refused to even listen or try in 1991. I became a born again Christian in 1997, and met my Christian husband on this site. I prayed for a loving christian man, and God brought us together even though he was in Australia and I was in Canada, but my ex retired and left me a bit so I was off. We've been married since Oct. 19, 2004, thanks to this site. I hope and pray that God will bring the right person into your life.

Hugs & Blessing,
Kanga

Send A Cheer

I don't know if you received your answer or not. But I wanted to let you know I will pray for you. I recently was involved for the last 1 1/2 with a friend and we decided we would take it to the next level and start dateing and we were going to get married. I've known him for the last 17 yrs. Anyway, I realized that instead of being a witness to him about Jesus, I was actually being pulled away. It wasn't his fault, I just couldn't believe how quickly I was blindsided. I loved this guy, I wanted to spend my life with him, but I also knew that I would have to make that decision. It's been 3 weeks now, yes I care deeply for this guy, more than he could ever imagine, but we were unequally yoked. I've heard this phrase so many times, but when it actually happens to you. It's heartbreaking. I gave up so much for this guy, "just so he would know that someone believed in him and could love him, not just use him." But I finally realized that wasn't my job, that's JESUS! He's the only one that can make the change. I will continually to pray for him! There's so much more I could share. But I wanted to let you know that you are not alone. I miss him but I continully lean on Jesus! I'm so glad that Jesus never turns his back on us! UR in my prayers!

I have come to a crossroads in a relationship with a man I am in love with and hope to marry. We have known each other for 1/2 years. He has had personal family problems that has caused us much hurt and heartache and up to this point I have been very loving and understanding, but last week, after much prayer, told him it could no longer go on this way. He had to make a choice. Even though ending this relationship will break my heart I cannot allow it to go on any longer. I must move on with my life and walking away will be one of the hardest things I have ever had to do. I want nothing but Gods total will in this situation no matter the outcome and would appreciate your prayers in this matter. He is to give me an answer tomorrow.
