My triplet brother, a lifelong bachelor, recently married a woman from the P.I., whom he met online, after a few months and a couple of visits.
There has been a big snafu with the paperwork and it looks like she will not be able to migrate to the U.S. for many months. His house is in disrepair and he despairs that he'll not be able to make it ready for the day she arrives.
She has developed (or always had) her own non life-threatening health issues.
In the meantime, he has developed depression, dizzy spells with shortness of breath, generalized weakness and malaise, had a partial orchidectomy (thankfully with a benign tumor), found a possible heart murmur and worries that he might not be able to perform his job duties. All this in the space of three months!
I think this is threatening to his faith, though he speaks of staying strong and faithful. When you get a minute, and you are thinking of it, please send a prayer heavenward that he will have peace and strength. Thank you and God bless.
