The past month, I've been asking for the Lord's direction with regards to my Clinical Proficiency Exam payments ($6,000). The Lord has worked through my situation in that He has given me peace in allowing my boss to pay for the initial exam payment of $1000. Thank you for praying with me for this. Please join me in praising the Lord for His provision.
Today, I received in the mail my schedule dates for the CPE. I was accepted for the AUGUST 21-25, 2006 test dates at UC Davis. The $5,000 balance on the exam fee needs to be paid by June 20 in order for me to be able to take the exam. Please continue to stand in faith & prayer with me for the LORD's gracious provision. I still don't know if my boss will pay for the complete exam fee, but I look to the Lord's hand to provide for this need.
I also would ask you again to please pray for me as I prepare for this exam. As I was reading the Manual for Exam Administration that the board sends to examinees, I realized that I still have a lot of things that I need to study & have actual experience on in order for me to pass this exams. To date, I basically have 15 weeks to study & prepare for that exam.
Please pray that the Lord wil provide the opportunities for me to gain experiences in the different areas that I might encounter in the exam; most particularly in equine medicine & large animal medicine. I also need to practice a lot in reading & interpreting radiographic plates. Please pray for the Holy Spirit to direct me to the things that I would need to study that I may be missing.
Please pray that I'll be able to focus on my studies, that I will have the discipline I need to be able to study & work at the same time. Please pray for the Lord to sustain me with His grace as I know i will be losing a lot of sleep again :P. Please pray for the Lord's favor to be upon me, especially on the days of my exam, as the result will depend on how the examiners grade me, & this will somewhat be subjective. In all these things, please join me in praying that the Lord's name be glorified in this endeavor.
