I am in need of prayer for a calming of the spirit and mind. I has been a long and hard six months with alot of life changes involved.
My friend has a tumor in his stomach, which is cancerous, and he has just retreated into himself. He knows Jesus, and has been to church, but I feel he needs prayer to help him feel God's love and to know that it is ok to reach out to Him. He is in need of an operation to remove the tumour and is scared of dying, which is normal. I pray to Almighty God that His will be done in that situation.
Throughout this whole time I have been trying to help him and seem to have forgotten that I need God's filling and grace, and lost track and sight of Him. I have just recently moved back to where I am able to just concentrate on Him and grow again, but am sooooo exhausted. Spiritually, I am drained and find it very hard to even look forward to the day and what it brings. Now, that's not to say that I don't have good days, cos man I have them still. I love God and I know He is with me always, I just need His help in finding the calm and just going with it.
I pray for a clarity to allow me to take the time for just me and God and let Him heal me in body, mind and spirit.
I was givin a word the other day that was for me to just stop. Now, in theory, that sounds really cool, but my reality is two children in the house and people visiting our house with their problems. Don't get me wrong I love them all, but, rest ???? What's that???
