Hi Larry and Nannette
I had only been member for about a week when I logged on to Shining Star Christian
Singles. I decided to check the feature, "Who's Online".
In doing so, I ran across
a few pictures and profiles that were OK...but was drawn to a particular profile.
I skimmed over it and kept going back. So I felt I should at least email this gentleman.
I figured with the distance between us, (him in California and me in Oklahoma) there was
probably only a chance of us being email friends. Little did I know that the Lord had
already prepared his heart and mine to meet.
Never underestimate what the Lord can do
for you! The Lord had seen to the finest details...even to the point of providing me
with a job at a local airlines. (So seeing each other was no longer a problem.)
As time progressed, we were astounded by the multitude of similarities, to the amount
of siblings each of us had, to birthdays within 10 days of each other on the same
year...and I could go on.
People that knew us couldn't understand the connection...but
we could! It was a divine connection of the Lord. The Lord saw the desires of our
hearts and drew us together through your services. He has indeed fulfilled over and
beyond our wildest dreams. We now wait on the Lord to complete us in His timing.
