Shining Star Staff,
I just wanted to let you know that Ghysleine and I have set
a date for our wedding. We're planning to have our
ceremony on January 4th, 2004 in Panama City, Panama.
Right now we're just hoping and praying that we can get all
of the paperwork for her Visa taken care of in time.
Thanks again for your help in bringing us together.

9/03 update:
I just want you to know that even with all the waiting and uncertainties with our visa situation, I still feel very blessed to have met my best friend and future wife on your site. She truly is a gift from God and has one of the kindest hearts you'll ever find. There is nothing like long-distance to test the strength of a relationship, but I know that if we can make it through this we can face just about anything. Please continue to pray for us. I am anxious for her company. :)

November 16, 2003 update
I actually got notice last week
that our petition for the fiance visa was approved (after 7
months of waiting!). However, she still has not received
an actual visa yet. BCIS (Immigration) passes the petition
to the National Visa Center (NVS) and they forward that
information on to the foreign consulate. At that point, my
fiance will have to fill out some additional paperwork and
then do an interview before the visa is issued. But things
are moving along now. :)
