I joined Shining Star on Sunday, February 17, 2002. I didn't really plan to join, but after spending the afternoon with some dear friends (man & wife) I went home to my lonely apartment and got on the internet where I saw the ad for a 14 day free trial.
Although I had seen it before and totally rejected the idea, on that particular evening, for some strange reason, I thought to myself "what the heck, I've got nothing to lose", so, on a lark, I joined up never really expecting anything to happen. Well, lo and behold, just 2 days later, I got a response from Maygirl32, we E-mailed back and forth a couple of times, we met Friday night, Feb 22nd. Monday night February 25th I proposed, she accepted and the rest is history!
We'll be married May 11th, 2002 in a Bluegrass Wedding. We are so happy we can hardly stand it!! Our Heavenly Father is so good to us!!
