Prayer for the stopping of barbaric practice of female circumsision in Africa. Pray for those sweet little girls that must endure all that pain. Pray that the practice3 will end immediatley.

I totally agree that we should ALL focus on "youthfulness" rather than "age". I can only KNOW that I view people that way.
I don't know that doing "nothing" is the answer for women who WANT to be married. A woman should everything to keep her Spiritual being at it's peak, her physical being at it's peak, and her looks as attractive as is possible and not forget that our inner beauty shines on the outside through our eyes, our expressions and our smile and even in our voice and responses. A woman needs to know that going to same old place ALL the time might not be the best means to broaden our exposure horizons. :) We should do everything that we can as God has given us a brain and we should use it! BUT, in the end, we trust God will work with us to assist us in bringing someone across our path who is our perfect match!

I think that most people just don't want to HURT ANOTHER PERSON'S FEELINGS. I know there is the smile that says something to the effect that thanks but no thanks. But a person still feels bad for that. I agree though, it is better to get a reply than none at all. I have sent many messages to received no response as well and it leaves you wondering. BUT, I just put on my "big girl pants" and move on!

As kind of a foot-note, I know two people who are great examples of this. One got married without consulting God first, and found out,too late, that the person was only pretending to be saved, and was a closet alcoholic who cheated on them regularly. The other person made a choice having to do with ministry without consulting God first, and ended up a broken person far from God and suffering many trials that could have been avoided if they had sought God's Will first, instead of claiming their own will as His. I hope this helps clear up my statements.
